Welcome to Aqua-Moves Aquatic Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists working exclusively in Hydrotherapy
In warm water the body is supported, movement is easier and pain is less.
Toni Fuller and Lisa Gilkes are both highly skilled physiotherapists who, over the last 10 years, have combined their wealth of experience to develop a unique treatment approach in water. They look closely at how your whole body is moving and use very specific exercises that give you a sense of how to move with greater ease and efficiency. When all parts of your body are working well together, exercises for stability, strength and mobility are much more effective.

Which pools do we use?
Palm Beach-Currumbin Hydrotherapy Pool
Throwers Drive, Palm Beach 4221 QLD
The pool is heated to a comfortable 33-35˚C. The hydrotherapy pool is has ramps and rails with a mobile hoist for chair transfers and a chair lift into the pool. Water-wheelchairs are also available to enable safe entry into the pool.
It is possible for us to travel to other hydrotherapy pools, but we require a minimum of 4 bookings and this service is by appointment only. We are also able to conduct private sessions in home pools, but they must be deemed safe for us to do this.
If you have cover for physiotherapy, private health insurance rebates apply. No referral is necessary. We are happy to treat veterans and receive EPC referrals where Medicare rebates apply.
